DOMAINE LA CÔTELETTE, LES TROGNES DE PINOT 2021

Very old vines of Pinot Noir, some over 100 years old, 2021 was tough, very wet, so he lost a lot of fruit to mildew, but as always Benoit managed to make something delicious. Complex, despite a light colour, there is nice tension, in a black glass, a touch of reduction that as Benoit say 'a nice reduction reassures….' Drinking well but definitely will be a wonder with age. Only 3 barrels made.
