DOMAINE EINHART, COLLINE DES ANCIENS 2021

One of the top wines of the estate from the best terroir they have, limestone of the Rosheim slopes, musselkalk & pink limestone. 30 year old vines facing south. 

40% Riesling pressed direct, then 40% Pinot Gris, 20% Gewurtztraminer both macerated for 48 hours. Aged in traditional Alsation foudre for a year or so. 

Rounded, with a full texture but with a freshness from the limestone soils, this has lovely balance to it and will pair beautifully with food.
