Originating from the Hautes-Alpes, Cyrille has had various careers and through the love of wine has found his way to becoming a winemaker. He's worked previously a ski instructor, a fruit picker and has picked grapes which is how he landed in Beaujolais. He is an warm character always with a cheeky smile, and we're so excited to be working with him. He started winemaking working under Jean-Claude Lapalu, and in 2012 he produced his first vintage. He has 5 hectares of old and young Gamay vines planted on a mix of pink granite, sand, clay and silex soils and located on the edge of Brouilly.
Concentrated yet fresh, cherry and pepper from 80-year-old vines, 22 days' full carbonic, the only wine of his to be vinified in oak (old, of course).
