In 2018 Cedric decided to blend his Cabernet Franc & Cabernet Sauvignon. The Franc comes from his biggest parcel of vines some planted in 1940 on soils rich in clay and shale. The Cabernet Sauvignon is from a small parcel planted in 1983 on clay and loam. He destems all the fruit and gives it a three week maceration, then ten months in old barrels. Wonderful lush fruit with very soft, silky tannins. Great for the season.
